Over the years, Bollywood actor and filmmaker Salman Khan has made a name for himself in the Hindi entertainment industry. For the last few months, the Mumbai Police’s Crime Branch has been investigating the shooting incident at his residence, which happened in April. On Sunday, a 25-year-old Rajasthan man was arrested by the officials as he had taken to his YouTube channel ‘Are Chhodo Yar’ to discuss the Bishnoi Gang and their plans to kill Khan. He was brought to Mumbai on Sunday and the visuals of the same are currently going viral on social media. 

As per a recent report by the Free Press Journal, the 25-year-old Banwarilal Laturlal Gujar hailed from Boarda village, Fazalpura, Hingoli, District Bundi in Rajasthan. The crime branch officials stated that he uploaded a video on his channel where he declared that all the gang members of Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar were with him. He went on to add that he would be killing Khan for not apologising. It is to be noted, that the video was shot by Gujar on his phone at a random highway in Rajasthan. As soon as the video was posted, it went viral on social media and gathered much traction because of its content. The Mumbai Police officials traced the video’s creator as soon as they came across it. They dispatched a team to Rajasthan and apprehended Gujar. A complaint has now been filed against him at the South Cyber Police station under sections 506 (2) (criminal intimidation with death threat), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace), 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and sections 66 (d) (cheating by personation by using computer resource) of the Information Technology Act. While Gujar’s criminal history is still unclear, efforts are being made to check his background to know the motive behind his claims. It is yet to be determined if the claims were real or were real or a publicity stunt.

For those who don’t know, two individuals on a bike open fired five rounds of bullets Khan’s residence in Bandra, Galaxy Apartments, on April 14 at 5 am. After the case was registered, the police officials arrested six individuals out of which Anuj Thapan, allegedly committed suicide in a police lock-up on May 1. 

On the work front, Salman Khan will be next seen in AR Murugadoss’ upcoming action flick. He also has Vishu Vardhan and Karan Johar’s The Bull in the pipeline. If reports are to be believed he will be collaborating with Shah Rukh Khan, for YRF’s spy thriller Pathaan vs Tiger.
